June 2016 Cartoon and Drawing Club

Feeling artistic? Try the Cartoon and Drawing Club on June 7 and 21 from 5-7 pm. For older artists, join in a time of creative expression with other like-minded individuals on June 14 and 28 from 5-7 pm. Both programs are led by our wonderful volunteer, Anne Smith.

MineCraft at Hill Library

Anyone interested in starting a MineCraft Makers and Players Club, please contact the library.  We are planning to install MineCraft on all of our computers and would like to hear from patrons of all ages about what features we should install.  We would love to hear from anyone interested in leading this club!

Story Time

Story Time sessions will begin April 27, and continue each Wednesday between 11AM-12PM.  Please stop in and enjoy our seasonal stories, kids’ crafts, and time with new friends.  It’s also time to join our “1000 books before kindergarten” program.  Each child who reaches a milestone of 100 books, will earn a book bag.

Suncook Inter-Library Cooperative

The Hill Library has joined the Suncook Inter-Library Cooperative (SILC).  We have added 40 new audio CDs and DVDs to our collection for the next three months.  In July, and every three months after that, we will get 40 brand new titles, which can be loaned out to Strafford residents.  All of the new items are located on the reverse side of the bookshelf as you enter the library.
