Friends of the Hill Library
The Friends of Hill Library (FHL) is a non-profit organization committed to the success of the Hill Library. The FHL’s contributions to Hill Library cannot be overstated, from providing land for the Library site, to the construction of the building and eventual transition to the Town of Strafford. The FHL continues to be a source of volunteers, ideas, and funding for programs and offerings, such as sponsoring the Hill Library’s Museum Program.
The FHL is always interested in welcoming new members, who bring fresh ideas and are interested in continuing to make Hill Library a place where our community can gather and grow. We meet at the Library several times a year. Check the Events calendar for upcoming meetings.
The Library would not open without the contribution of many volunteers in the community. They supplement the hours of Library employees so our doors can be open longer, sponsor programs and clubs, help shelve books, and so many other helpful activities throughout the Library!
Some of our frequent volunteers include Martha, Dolly, Sandy, Eva, Anne, Sue, Kelly, Donna, Marjorie, and Victoria. If you are interested in helping us as we expand our Library programs and offerings, please contact the Library or the Friends of Hill Library.
